Chapter 2.1 - Leila's Crazy Day

So what do we have here? Leila has changed her career! After solving only one case, she decided that the detective career was not for her. It was too devious and she wanted to do something that benefited the community without breaking any laws, so she became a fire fighter!

After a pretty uneventful first day at the first station, Leila headed into town to pick up some supplies to develop her gardening skills. As she came out of the grocery store, she was lucky enough to bump into one of the biggest local celebrities in town, and the richest. She couldn't be missed as she had paparazzi following her. Leila just had to go up to her and greet her in person.

Just as Leila was making some headway in influencing this charming celebrity, out of nowhere a crazed vampire woman leaps onto her and starts fighting her, and the two of them being brawling on the street in front of the celebrity, paparazzi and Jasmine's boss! 

Leila: Get off me you crazed vampire woman!

The crazy vampire lady really kicked Leila's ass and she was not impressed! Who knows what started it, maybe she was jealous of the attention she was getting from the celebrity?

Leila: What is wrong with you? Oh god my back!

She soon got her back in her own way tho, by casting a chattering teeth fairy charm on this horrid horrid woman. Leila may not be physically tough but she does have a few magic tricks to back her up!

Leila: That shows you not to pick on a fairy!

Just as Leila thought the craziness was over, she turns around and finds Jasmine's boss clenching a water balloon in his hand and getting ready to peg it at her.

Leila: A Water Balloon? Seriously? I just had my ass kicked in a street brawl, do you really think I'm in the mood for this?

And if you thought this day couldn't get any weirder, an invisible guy starts talking to Leila and offers her a bunch of flowers out of thin air. Leila accepted the offer graciously, yet she was a little perplexed at the same time.

Leila: Oh Flowers!? How kind of you strange invisible person!?

After a long day at work, Leila couldn't wait to tell the stories from her very strange day with her sister, but Jasmine wasn't in the mood to chat, she just wanted to pillow fight!

The next morning, Leila's head was not working. She pulled out a serve of Autumn Salad, and as she started to eat it, she realised it was spoilt, then she proceeded to get another serve of the very same batch of Autumn Salad out to eat, and was surprised it tasted just as bad!?

Leila: Oh damn, this Autumn salad tastes just as bad as the other left over Autumn Salad!?

Jasmine was also in a bad head space that day as she tried to develop her skills in converting plantable ingredients. 

It wasn't going too well as the item would just disappear. Eventually after a few tries she got the hang of it!

Jasmine also had her first encounter with a guy that seemed to be as mutually interested in her as she was in him. Jasmine was keen to get to know this cowboy who also happened to be a witch, but his daughter just kept butting into their conversation. 

Leila has also managed to find some mutual interest around town, but despite shared interest in each other, the moment of interaction was only fleeting.

After that embarrassing afternoon at the grocery store, Leila never thought she would see that lovely celebrity lady again, but she was so surprised to receive an invitation from her to come to her pool party! Leila didn't hesitate to say yes and bring her sister along.

She couldn't believe how rich she was, the house was so big! 

Leila and Jasmine enjoyed this taste of rich, celebrity life, and they weren't in a hurry to go back home.

Leila: I could get use to this!

Jasmine: Oh I know, I am going to be living like this one day!

Jasmine meant what she said, as she soon set out to meet and befriend local celebrities! She soon met these two minor celebrities around town and it didn't take her long to get chatting to this lovely fellow and over time getting to know each other, she soon gained a celebrity star of her own. Score! She really let her star quality shine through here.

Jasmine: Oh yeah I'm a big deal! I pretty much run the corporate headquarters across the road. Getting ahead is all in the Charisma you know, maybe I could show you sometime?

Just as Jasmine was shooting for the stars, Leila was quite at the other end of the spectrum, dumpster diving like a homeless person! Anyone looking at her would think she was homeless but apparently she just likes to do this for fun, to scavenge for valuables. All part of her frugal nature I guess.

Will Jasmine ever gain the celebrity and riches she hopes for? Will Leila ever cross paths with that crazed vampire woman again? We will have to wait and see!
