Chapter 9.1 - Where Did the Love Go?

Leila was really anticipating seeing Devon to tell him about about their new baby while she was stuck in the future, but as soon as she returned home, something felt different. Some kind of glitch must have gotten into the time-space continuum because all of the love and friendship between them was gone! They were like strangers! As soon as he arrived to the house, Leila tried flirting with him but it just made him angry!

It was as if he had completely forgotten that he had loved her, and altho Leila knew in her heart she felt the same about him also, she was so saddened and confused to see this relationship die so suddenly and in such a shocking way!

Leila: I don't know where the love between us has gone, but we both know it is no longer there for us anymore. I feel like I don't even know you anymore!

The love between Jasmine and Derek did not fade however Jasmine was faced with a completely different dilemma. While she was in the future, Derek had gotten engaged to another woman!

She wasn't mad at him because they weren't in a relationship, but Jasmine didn't know if she wanted to go down this path again. She needed a lover and a father. She did not want to be a mistress again. Just as the two of them were reacquainting, a handsome blue haired man named Lyle Haynes interrupted them, grinning from ear to ear.

Derek then decided he had to leave and get back to his fiancee so Jasmine decided to get aquatinted with Lyle instead. They really hit it off straight away. They spent the night chatting and hanging out in the hot tub. They are now best friends.

With love lost and lingering for the two sisters, they instead have chosen to share the immense love they have with their children.

So much of their time is spent looking after these little tykes, but they enjoy every minute of it.

Kids sure do age up quickly and it was time for Oren to become a child.

Jasmine did a great job of raising Oren and he has grown up with the 'family oriented' trait. One of the valued traits needed to potentially become one of the next heirs!

Leila's son Winford also grew up into a child. What a handsome young fairy he has turned out to be with hair, skin and ears just like his mother and caramel eyes.

Unfortunately with Leila having trouble balancing her time with two young children, Winford is yet to age up with one of the much needed traits and instead has gained the ambitious trait.

The little girl of the household, Lidia, has also aged up into a toddler! 

Lidia has dark purple skin like her father, pointed ears and pink eyes like her mother and a mop of brown hair.

Leila and Jasmine also scraped up all the money they had to make an extension to the house and give Oren and Winford their own boys bedroom. The room is coated head to toe in purple!

Jasmine seems to be spending more time in the new room than anyone however. She just loves playing with the toys she bought for the boys. Sometimes I wonder if she just bought them for herself!

Leila has been such a great addition to the household. Such a wonderful toddler. She has come across the easter gnome recently and she has quite enjoyed rolling around on the floor beside him.

Leila has also begun to work out that she is a witch as she plays with her toys. She was so very surprised when she made her toy disappear right in front of her for the first time!

With Oren and Winford sharing a room and going to school together, they really have struck up a great friendship which Leila and Jasmine are delighted to see!

They will often be seen having serious discussions over the dining table, doing their homework together and even sharing secrets. They really are best buddies!

Tho Jasmine and Leila work very hard to make ends meet, they are only slowly making the extensions and upgrades to the house that they need. They only wish the place could be nicer for the kids as they grow older but they provide the best they can for their kids.

Will Leila and Jasmine find love again? Will we ever see a marriage for Jasmine or Leila? Will Jasmine have enough time to give birth to another child to become heir? Lets find out in the next chapter.
